Proposals are invited for Courses and Workshops in Human–Computer Interaction (HCI) and allied fields aligned with the conference theme of India HCI 26. These sessions enrich skills, share best practices, and foster collaboration in the design and HCI community.

Courses are instructor-led sessions designed to help participants gain knowledge, skills, and practical insights in HCI, Design, and allied fields. We encourage proposals aligned with the conference theme. Best suited when participants primarily learn rather than co-create.

Half-day or Full-day
Workshops are interactive sessions that foster collaboration, discussion, experimentation, and produce outcomes around a common topics with focused themes in HCI, Design, and related disciplines.
Purpose: Collaborative, hands-on exploration where participants contribute and create together.
Propose a workshop if the primary goal is participant collaboration and shared outcomes rather than instruction.
Mode: Collaborative and participatory sessions

Workshop proposals will not be archived in the conference proceedings. Organizers retain rights to workshop materials, while the conference reserves the right to use submitted information for promotional and archival purposes.
What’s the difference between a workshop and a course?
Propose a Workshop if you expect participants to collaborate and contribute to a shared topic or output. Participants actively contribute, engage in activities, and collectively explore a focused topic.
Propose a Course if the session is primarily instructional, similar to a class focused on learning outcomes. Participants attend to build knowledge or develop specific skills.
