Posters and Demos
The Posters and Demos track at the India HCI 2026 invites students, researchers, practitioners, designers, artists, and interdisciplinary teams to present emerging ideas, interactive systems, exploratory research, and creative technology experiences in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
The theme of India HCI 2026, Designing for Dignity: Inclusive, Accessible, and Respectful Futures in HCI, encourages submissions that explore how technologies can support inclusion, accessibility, agency, care, equity, wellbeing, and respectful interaction across diverse contexts and communities. The track also welcomes critical and reflective perspectives on the role of technology in shaping human experiences and futures.
The track aims to provide a platform for showcasing, but not limited to:
Early-stage research
Speculative concepts
Proof-of-concept systems
Interactive experiences,
Artistic explorations, and
Technology demonstrations.
The track encourages interdisciplinary participation and dialogue across academia, industry, design practice, arts, and emerging technologies.
Submissions will be evaluated based on originality, relevance, creativity, clarity, and potential impact. Selected works will be presented during the conference as posters and/or live demonstrations.
All times are in Anywhere on Earth (AoE) time zone. You can check your local time in AoE .

Posters
Poster submissions are intended for early-stage research, design explorations, conceptual ideas, preliminary findings, and emerging interaction concepts.
Authors are requested to submit a 2-page (excluding references) write-up in PDF format using the single-column ACM format (Latex, Overleaf, MS Word).
The submission should include:
Problem Statement
Motivation and Context
Proposed Design / System / Approach
Preliminary Results or Insights (optional)
References (if any)
Additionally, authors must submit:
A full-size poster design in PDF format
Recommended poster size: A0 Portrait (841 mm × 1189 mm. (Poster Template)
Optional supplementary material such as videos, prototype links, or supporting media may also be submitted. Total supplementary material size should not exceed 300 MB.
At least one author of each accepted submission must register for the conference and present the poster at the venue.
Demos
Demo submissions are intended for interactive prototypes, systems, tools, immersive experiences, games, devices, artistic installations, and working proof-of-concept applications. Demos should be stable enough for repeated demonstrations during the conference.
Authors are requested to submit a 2-page (excluding references) write-up using the single-column ACM format (Latex, Overleaf, MS Word).
The submission should include:
